PUBLIC NOTICE FOR APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONERS TO THE SOULARD SPECIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

Pursuant to Section 4(e) of St. Louis City Ordinance 63154, the Soulard Special Business District Board of Commissioners is accepting applications to fill three (3) vacancies on its board.  The purpose of the Soulard Special Business District is to plan and implement security and crime prevention services within the District.  To qualify for a board appointment, applicant must be a registered voter in the City of St. Louis and:

One (1) applicant must be a residential property owner within the District.  This application fills an expired board seat, with term expiring 12/31/2020.

One (1) applicant must be a commercial property renter within the District.  This application fills a vacant board seat, with term expiring 12/31/2019.

One (1) applicant must be a residential property renter within the District.  This application fills a vacant board seat, with term expiring 12/31/2018.

The Mayor of the City of St. Louis, with the advice and consent of the Board of Alderman, shall appoint the new Commissioners.  Applications can be obtained by emailing a request to info@soulard-sbd.org.  Completed applications must be submitted to info@soulard-sbd.org by no later than 5:00pm on Thursday,  June 29, 2017.  See www.soulard-sbd.org for District boundaries.
