The date and place have been set for the 2016 Soulard Oktoberfest.
Johnny Daus, owner of Johnny’s Restaurant and Bar in Soulard, said the annual festival — which was in danger of being discontinued — will be held Oct. 21-22 at Soulard Market Park.
Daus and other Soulard business owners stepped up last month to rescue the event after the festival’s board announced that because of a lack of money, it would not hold a festival this year.
